CAL Prom 0501/PM4

Prom nite
A night to celebrate the end of "A" Levels
The best prom nite ever!!

A Day of Coincidence

A friend in need is a friend indeed
I cannot imagine that
when I suddenly needed help
my friends are around
at the right time and place
to assist me
in every way
from computer...
to assignment....
to business...yea...$$$
and to be my agent/ representative....

That I can continue
to do my assignment
uninterrupted
while the rest is being taken care of
All unplaned
but it turned out well

I couldn't express my gratitude in words
which I have deeply felt
to have them as my friends
is indeed a blessing
a gift in life

They might not be around forever
but I truly appreciate
their company and their help
These are the people that seems neutral
but they are the ones that make a difference.

My long lost holidays

Last holidays were spent
writing up my assignment
for the entire two weeks!!
Even though I went to Singapore
I was practically hibernating there
buried in my assignment
However, it was a good holiday
Meals were well taken care of
With some time in between
to meet up with long lost friend
long lost Mickey Mouse and my Thet Thet che che
And also my previous students,
studying in NUS
Only shopped for one day
but managed to get fancy dresses for dinner!!

This holiday is going to be different
Cause I have kept my private time for myself
my assignment
during the semester

This holiday is an island to me
Where I can practically disappear from the "world"
and focus on the nature of life
where no modern technology can reach
Fine tuning the mind with the right attitude
There is only the knowing mind,
the mind and matter,
cause and effect
practically the dhamma

I want to live the life
immersed in dhamma
in every moment
Where there is no delusion
no ignorance
just bare awareness
and the wisdom to guide
to see dhamma at every moment
to understand the life deeper
until no "I" exist
but just the forces of cause and effect
taking its course
till Nibbana is reached
Shedding the turmoil of the "world"
and vanish forever!!

What an enjoyable evening

My 0501/PM4, they have completed A levels
A celebration to mark the end!!
I have had BBQ with them end of their first semester.
Today, I have BBQ with them, end of their course.
Oh, I rejoice
that they have grown up
with wings
strong to fly high and far
to reach their destiny in life
I rejoice
that I have the opportunity to watch them grow
I rejoice
to share their joy and tears together
I rejoice
to sing out loud with them

This is not only the best moment in their life up till now,
but also mine
My heart is filled with tears of joy
when I hug them and say good bye
with wishes from the bottom of my heart

I feel like crying but relieved

The semester has come to an end.
This is one of the toughest semester I have ever had in Taylor's.
I have not scolded as often as before
I have not gotten angry as often as before
I have not been as disappointed as often as before
I have not been so thin even if I am on diet
Why?
Not because of having four classes and 24 hours per week,
as this is the usual case in the first half of the year,
but because of the batch itself
Many students are so immature
There is lack of proper attitude in the studies
I felt like pulling the cow up the tree
Why am I responsible for these kind of students?
Why must I spare my private time to stay back with them
so that they do corrections.
Can't they discipline themselves?
Who am I to discipline them?
Why should I care so much?
Why am I so worked out?
I have already fulfilled my duty as their teacher
Teaching them, giving notes, giving exc, giving class test, giving answers, marking,
giving quizes, discussing answers so that they can do corrections
Showing them the way to do well in A Levels
Guiding them
but why oh why, they don't seem to be bothered about their future at all?
Is this my future?
No, definitely not. Its theirs
Oh my students, when are you all growing up?
I felt a heavy burden on my shoulders
But now, I have learnt to let go
I have done my part,
the rest is up to you.
I can only show u the way,
you have to take the steps to reach the goal.
Nobody can do it for you except for yourself.

I am relieved now.
Its not my burden any more.
Its actually theirs
I can be happy as I have done my part to the fullest
I have given them the "A"
But they refused to take just a few steps to reach it.
I have no regrets.
Who is to regret?

A letter to my PM.....

My dear warriors and angels,

I received the news from my boss this morning, calmly. Already expected 1/3 chance.

Any way, it has been nice having you all, the warriors and angels of PM.....!
This is the class that I felt most comfortable and enjoyable in teaching.
Very positive and mostly attentive in class, cooperative too.
Nice bunch of students.

You all will be getting Ms. Vanitha as your bio teacher.
She is very dedicated and good too!
Do cooperate with her. She is very nice and helpful!!

Hey my warriors, the battle does not end here. Do strive on till u grab an "A" for BIO. As for my angels, you all are a good combination. Strive on to score "A"!!
I want "A"
Only "A"
Nothing but "A"
Remember? "A" ar
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
BANGGGGGGGGGG INTO YOUR HEAD AR............................

Do keep your promise of not giving or lending my notes to anybody at all,
including any teacher in and out of college.
The notes is my gift for you, (out of lots of effort and hard work)
so that you can do well in Bio if you make full use of it. Promise?
(I am disappointed to discover that PM6 has my notes.
Hope its not from any one of you here and also my other PM classes.)

Once a warrior, forever my warrior
Once an angel, forever my angel!!

My PC Doctor

Virus...virus detected...oh....what a nuisance!!
Luckily my PC Doctor is around to lend a hand.
The Dr. came, diagnosed the PC, made an appointed for an operation.
Oh, my poor PC, does it mean I am going to loose my precious memory in you?
No, I don' t want. Please tell me I don't have to lost any of those!!
The day has come, for my PC to be operated.
Many spywares removed.
But the virus, that stubborn virus remains.
Well, Dr. Thongkai, I gotta call you again.
Cause you've got plan B and C if the operation is not successful.

Thongkai, I am indeed grateful to have such a friend,
who goes all the way to lend a hand
A friend in need is a friend indeed.
You laugh, I laugh,
you cry, I cry,
you jump down the window,
and I will look down and say
Bye bye .
He He....quack quack!! Moo meow!!

Good Bye, PM.....

The day has come,
when one of my classes will be transfered to another lecturer,
I have not much feeling
Cause already conditioned the mind in this way
Let the nature go its way, it has its own course
Cherish the moment when we are together
Because nobody knows when we will depart
When we depart, the heart is filled with gratitude and satisfaction
for the memorable and meaningful time spent together
There is no regret, no attachment, no dukkha
This class is indeed a very special class
The warriors, angels, twins, spice, pious TA and "lollipop" warrior,
the hyperactive momo, the explosive "ignite" and the cute Mangga ,
Dharma as gentle as a lamb
A class with interesting combination
A class which is united, cooperative, loving and attentive
Continue to shine, my dear
Continue to strive,
To reach your goal in life!
May you all be well and happy!!
Take good care of yourself!!
